Short update

Hello So yesterday me and my two best friends went out to go and celebrate their birthday. We went to go see Night at the Museum 3 which was incredible. I would strongly recommend that you go and see it. I spent Christmas Day with my Mum's side of the family. I was great. I went round my uncle's house where 16 people were gathered in the living room opening presents. I got a hell of a lot of chocolate, some heart shaped lights, clothes ext. I also got a Nintendo Wii that I can call my own! I am so blessed. Thank you. Boxing day was spent with my Dad's side of the family. I got quite a lot of One Direction merch, a 5sos book and a McBusted concert tour DVD. I want to than my whole family for getting me all these gifts and loving me from the day I was born. :-) This blog is going to be updated either every day or every two days. I had to take a break over Christmas obviously, to spent time with my family. Sorry I haven't updated in a little while :-\ Over on my ...

What to do in the holidays!

Hello So school is over. What should you do in this 2 week period of festiveness? First of all, DO ALL OF YOUR HOMEWORK RIGHT NOW . Seriously. Throughout all of my life I have procrastinated and waited until literally the last day of the holidays to do my homework. If you do it now, you can spend your last day of freedom doing something fun. Have a movie marathon. There are so many movies to chose from, Disney, Pixar, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Divergent, Twilight and tons of chick flicks. It doesn't matter whether you are with a group of friends or on your own, spend those hours wrapped in a blanket eating chocolate whilst your favourite movies are on repeat. TV Feast. Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, Atlantis, Once Upon a Time. Watch every episode of every series ever. You know you want to. Interneting. YouTube, Facebook, Wattpad, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Vine, Spotify, Younow and Tumblr. No more information required. Dance to your favourite bands/artists. Play C...

My week summed up...

Hello I love music. Like ALOT . That is why I am part of a choir and am part of the music leaders team. On Tuesday, I performed in a KS3 evening that was held at out school to show of how musically talented our school's 11-14 year olds are. I played keyboard - as per usual. I did Hedwig's Theme (the Geek came out inside me) from Harry Potter. It was awesome. All of the other performers did more Christmas-ssy songs and they did so well. The choir and all the performers joined together at the end and sang Last Christmas. Literally everyday we had been rehearsing. In the end, the harmonies worked perfectly. I loved being a part of it. Also, our school invited some senior citizens into our school, relying on mainly the music department to provide the entertainment. The choir had to sing Christmas carols with the old people and we did a repeat of Last Christmas from 3 nights previously. It was fun. In other news... Next week is our last week at school before we break up for Ch...

Deep things....

Hello So this year my school choir got the opportunity to perform (with other school choirs from around the area, local brass band and VERY talented solo performers) at our local circus. For months we have been meeting up every lunch to practice Christmas carols and taking time out of school (we had to catch up in our own time) to go to rehearsals. These rehearsals varied from 4 hours long to about 8 hours . I have did this last year and during Primary school as well. I have to say that even though it is physically and mentality demanding, it is such a good experience. I don't think I could fully explain all of my emotions as I was sat in the Hippodrome circus, facing the audience on the other side of the ring. I sing alto (lower part harmony) so I was put with all the boys from my school since all the girls from my school sing higher. It was really fun, though. As the music in the background stopped and the audience went silent, I began feeling nervous. Anyway, whil...

Introductions...

Well here is the most boring part really. In every single blog there is always that one post that tells you who you are reading about. This is mine... Hello! My name is Emily. Pretty much all you need to know about me is that I am a: Directioner (One Direction) Potterhead (Harry Potter) Whovian (Doctor Who) Merlinian (Merlin) Initiate (Divergent) and I am a massive fan of Disney (Peter Pan is my personal favourite) Whilst being on the internet, I have acquired a more fun name....EMICOOL. If you have seen my other blog (EmicoolStyles) you will realise how completely rubbish I am at continuing these blogs...sorry. This blog is about me. My thoughts, feelings, opinions and just general day to day life. Enjoy (moohahaha) -Emicool
