Are we all in hell?

Hello Are we all in hell? A question that my mother asked me one night whilst talking about religion. Let me explain... My mum has a theory that we are all in hell right now and that to get to heaven we must die after having completed a 'good' life in the eyes of 'God'. Just say for a minute that I am Eve (as in Adam and Eve), I have been punished for picking fruit from a tree and therefore have to live on Earth through many lives until I have had a 'successful' and 'sin-free' life. What if I have lived multiple lives because I have always messed up? What if heaven is dying? Heaven is true happiness and peacefulness so it is logical. So if I do not follow what God wants me to do, I have to try again. Heaven is supposed to be free from evil. Look at the Earth. Disease, illness, murder, rape, wars. So much evil. What if this is the hell? To me it makes sense. Ignoring the fact that Satan is supposed to rule, Earth certainly does seem like a he...

My 'spiralling circle of nothingness'.

Hello to everyone reading this! Today's blog is slightly different, I am going to talk about something that I like to call my 'spiralling circle of nothingness'. Just over a year ago now I hit a point where I wasn't interested in doing anything. I didn't want to go to school or go to dance lessons, I wanted to quit my music lessons and didn't want to spend time with friends. I became quite sad and spent every free moment in my bed. Sometimes I cried myself to sleep and I started having panic attacks and chest pain. But I wasn't aware of how I was. My family were getting worried and so my Mum asked me if anything was wrong, to which I responded nothing. My piano and dance teachers had asked my parents questions and were genuinely worried about me. None of this was getting through though, because I thought that I was fine and that they were being stupid. That was until my mum told me that my two best friends had spoken to her about me behind my back. ...

The beauty of being busy

Hello people of the internet! I am actually a really busy person - there is never a day where I have absolutely nothing to do. Being busy is really fun but can simultaneously be really stressful and tiring. Here's what I'm going to be doing in the next couple of months. Dance show. Friday and Saturday (16th & 17th Oct 2015) I will be in a show dancing a modern dance and a tap dance. I have been doing dancing for 11 years now and I have done plenty of shows in that time. Literally all through the next week I will be at rehearsals for hours at a time. Tiring. Drama show. I am in a production of The Wizard of Oz in November. That should be interesting. Rehearsals are starting to get more intense, longer and more often. Keyboard exam. In December I am taking my Grade 4 keyboard exam. So in between all of the rehearsals I have to find time to practise for a keyboard exam. Shakespeare production. I am on the prop making team for an upcoming performance that a local...

19 Annoying Things That Teachers Do

Hello! Ok so first of all I apologise. You might have noticed that today is not a Sunday. This have been hectic lately so I am sorry that I haven’t uploaded the last two Sunday blogs. :-( Anyway, this week's blog relates to the last one. I present to you: 19 annoying things that teachers do! The bell is for me, not you.  No. The bell signals the end of the lesson and now I am going to be shouted at for being late next period. There are still 3.26 seconds left. Sit down. You simply cannot do any work in 3.26 seconds. Stop being pointless. We have homework too, it’s called marking. And I have to do 4 essays, 6 projects and a speech for tomorrow. Here is your homework - 8 page essay. Due tomorrow first lesson. An essay takes longer than one night. Also, that’s just mean. Someone once kicked the ball with their toe and broke it. Pretty much every PE teacher has said this at one point. You should be able to do this, it’s easy. Thanks for lowering my self-esteem. ...
