Single AF

Hey Guys!

It's Valentines day.

Yet another time of year when the shops guilt you into buying overly priced rubbish in order for them to make profit. 'Your girlfriend will love this single red rose for just £10!' they say enticing you into their charm.

For me, Valentines day is just another day. You should be loving your significant other all year long, not just on the 14th of February.

If you want to then call your boyfriend/girlfriend over and have a date night.
Or you could spend the day with your friends, have a sleepover and order pizza.
Or just spend the day alone and treat yourself - watch a movie, play your favourite games and binge watch that show you like.
Valentines day should be about showing people how much you love and appreciate them, not about what expensive gift you buy them.

At the end of the day, Valentines doesn't really matter. You will [probably] go to sleep tonight and live through tomorrow no matter what your day today was like.

So if (like me) you're spending you're Single AF, smile because it doesn't matter as we're all going to die anyway.

Hey guys I take my first GCSE exam on Tuesday. In some ways, I am terrified. The thought that two years of solid hard work could all go down the drain if I have a bad day is scary. I have bombed mock exams in the past so I know what it feels like to walk out of the exam hall feeling like it's all gone wrong. But to do that on the real exams would be devastating. However, I am feeling reasonably calm. I started revising pretty much since the start of year 10. I have done past paper after past paper, made thousands of flashcards (quite literally) and have covered my walls in revision from floor to ceiling. I feel prepared. This is strange. 5 things to do before a new school term

Hello In England, the school year is split into 3 terms and 6 half terms. At the end of each term there is a two week break. At the end of this break I like to do a few things to get ready for the new term. 1. Sort out my pencil case. At the end of the term, I am usually left with a pencil case full of pens that don't work. So I just swap out the old ones with new ones. The last thing you want is to go back to school after Christmas with 7 pens that have all run out. 2. Re-organise my school stuff. I put all of my books in one place, stock up on equipment, put revision in folders etc. 3. Tidy my bedroom. Completely sort it out. I get rid of all of the things that I don't use or don't need and re-organise everything else.This only needs to be done 3-4 times per school year. 4. Get a lot of sleep.
